Neither. He's a politician - he'll fudge.

He'll do his own thing and claim to have implemented the ISG report (even where he's done the opposite).

I think like everyone he will critique the report and take some suggestions while leaving others. It needs to be understood that large sections of this report are crap. The whole idea that we should negotiate with Syria and Iran is preposterous and unworkable. These 2 nations are the largest sponsors of terror on the planet and they are not going to act unless it is in their own best interests. This translates to bad for America's interests. We do need new directions in Iraq and I hope that we get them, but backdoor surrender such as the ISG is suggesting in not the answer. Their solutions are for the most part unrealistic and unworkable, but they certainly play well on the evening news with antiwar crowd.

It is too early to comment on this report. There are some things the report said that simply do not make sense (such as involving Syria and Iran - countries that are supporting and financing the violence for their own ends).

IMO - the report will be reviewed and those parts that make sense will be implemented and those that do not will be discarded.

I think that bush will most likely to ignore the report cuz of one thing.........he's war mongering and the fact that he was waiting for this kind of opportunity to pop up and he got lonely playing by himself in his "little war game" so he got Tony Blair to join in but I think that a new leader is needed at some point but for now lets see how long he can last, lets see if he can finish what he has started.
