Going 60 minutes straight once a day?
Going 30 minutes twice a day?
Going 20 minutes 3 times a day?
No difference between them?

Go 30 minutes in the morning before eating breakfast. (if you want to do 60 min, that's fine too. at least do 20 minutes.)
This will kick start your metabolism for the rest of the day, and thus burn more calories.

Later in the day do 30 minutes again.
But, I would suggest doing light strength training and then doing cardiovascular afterwards. Research has shown that cardio exercise after strength training burns more calories than cardio first then strength training.

e.g. several sets of pushups and situps... then bike for 30 minutes.

20 minutes 3 times a day. Once your muscles are lit up, they will continue working extra hard burning calories. So, lighting them up three times will extend the extra work 3 times each day.

Go with the 60 mins..But..change your pace every 10 min.....10 min go nice slow steady..10 min go hard and fast..

By doing that your muscles are staying freash, your body will burn more calories going from a High to Low speed...and it will all end up being self rewarding.

To burn calories and fat through exercise effectively you have to work aerobically by raising your heartbeat and sustaining that for a while. How long for each time depends on your own personal fitness level. I would suggest two thirty minute sessions, aiming at cycling full out for about five to ten minutes after a ten minute warm up period of slowish cycling followed by a cool down of another ten minutes slowish cycling. Always stretch out before and after!

actually no difference. but will u be able to go for 60 mins straight once? actually what u need to d is watch for your heart rate when working out. it has to be atleast above 120 beats per min for weight loss and cardio workout,if you intend to do it. minimum of 20 mins at a stretch is required for cardio workout.

If you reach your target heart rate then it doesn't really matter, but since it usually takes awhile to reach it... 60 minutes is best. That is what most fitness folks recommend.
