Even in death, with her eyes wide open, the Gorgon had her power/powers. The evil king looked her straight in the eye/eyes and turned to stone.

This is about Medusa turning people into stone. Which should be chosen for each option?

She has the power of turning people to stone (I don't know of any other powers), at least that's the one that was related to looking into her eyes.

In that sentence, I think the word 'eye' should be used (I know I said 'eyes' above, but I was refering to either one of her eyes), as you can only really look at one eye at the time. Plus the idiom is 'look (someone) straight in the eye.

Powers and eye sound good enough for me. I read a lot of book and I think this is what I would like to see in the sentences of the story.

God bless you

If you apply a white or light glittery color in the inner corner of your eyes that will make them look bright er and more awake. Using eyeliner on the top and bottom lid also help to emphasize the eye. Just don't go too dark!! Then it just looks scary! lol

Are we talking about specific powers? If so, and there is more than one power, then "powers". If we are talking power in general, then "power."

You normally look someone straight in the "eye", though eyes is also gramatically appropriate.

Power should be used, because it makes it sound that she had one major unbearable power, rather than alot of 'little' powers.
Eyes should be used because...it just sounds right.
Hope to have helped.

being a foreigner (Italian) I'm probably not entitled to answer this question but I feel that powers and eyes should be used.
