An umbrella policy is a good idea if you you have a lot of assets such as a home stocks, bonds, cash or anything of value that can be taken away from you in a law suit. A one million dollar policy can cost anywhere from $150 to $300 a year. It all depends on where you live and what insurance co you go to. Call around and get some quotes. Try Geico,State Farm, Allstate, Liberty Mutual and a few others.

UMBRELLAS,,,,,,METAL FRAME, WOOD FRAME. PAPAR TOP, FABRIC TOP, PVC TOP,,,,etc,,,etc..the list goes on ,,,what is the type U r referrint to??
Prices range from few cents to hundreds of $$$$.
If you have bought a cute small umbrella made of paper & bamboo frame & hand painted in Bangkok/thailand, it can cost just $1.00
If you went to any ordinary shopping malls, U can find a foldable one about $2 - $5 fabric & metal frame. The normal long ones that is shut & has a curve handle to straight handle & fabric cost $5 - $10 depending on the fabric quality again. The PVC is common for rainy & hot days use is practical.
The classic BLACK UMBRELLA from UK is excellent & is very well made & is made to order too for some. That can cost in $$$$$ depends on the place U got it from in UK. Also the LACE & FABRIC PARASOL OF THE OLD VICTORIAN DAYS ,,,another CLASSIC that U can buy from TAIWAN ,,,made in china .

Yes. Depends on a lot of factors, but there is pricing for all umbrellas.
You probably should contact your homeowners agent for a quote specific to your factors.

The price of umbrellas is outrageous. Write to your MPs, everyone. They should be government subsidised unless something can be done about the weather pronto. The hole in the ozone layer is great, but it's taking too long. Where are the Mediterranean summers we were promised in the UK? Pah, I say - PAH.
