Hello Silver,

Silver you don't say which muscles in your neck. So anyway, if its your scalenus medius anterior and posterior. Lay on the floor. Head symmetrical, then pull left shoulder away from ear and don't rotate your head. Then with your hand on the opposite side of your head draw your right ear towards your right shoulder. This will give you a good stretch for those muscles. ohhh both sides remember

If its Levator scapulae, then the stretch needs to be a bit different sooooooo, sit in a chair, drop your chin on your chest and turn chin 45 degrees, keep spine long, and then just gently pull your head a little more with your hand. both sides.

If you want to strengthen your sternocleidomastoide then just to sit ups. I would work on the stretches on the other muscles in conjunction, don't just work on strength.

The person that said go see a physio is right though. Do that x

I think that trying to get advice for this problem here is dangerous, and it's likely that you will do yourself more harm than good. Go to a physiotherapist and let them advise you, they will look at how your neck moves, and ask you how it feels, and tell you the best and safest thing to do.
