I'm not talking about major trauma here, just the day to day niggles of modern life.

i am also suffering in stress nowadays but to cope up with it, i have listed the following ways, and here they are:

have at least 8 hours of sleep,

listen to music. "No MUSIC, No LIFE!!!"

have a pet (e.g. cat or dog), scientists have discovered that brushing against the fur of your pet takes out stress hormones in your body,

have a balanced diet,

have enough rest, maybe 30 minutes rest after each job will do,

do deep breathing exercises,

drink juice,

have a good massage,

have an inspiration( e.g. girlfriend/boyfriend),

and...pray..Ü

I make sure I set aside some time every day that is 'Me Time', when I relax and do something I enjoy, like read a humorous book, listen to music, draw, do a crossword or sudoku, anything that will concentrate my mind, a bit like meditation in a way, and deep breathing helps

What can I do to reduce stress?
Keep a positive attitude.

Accept that there are events that you cannot control.
Be assertive instead of aggressive. "Assert" your feelings, opinions, or beliefs instead of becoming angry, combative, or passive.
Learn to relax.
Exercise regularly. Your body can fight stress better when it is fit.
Eat well-balanced meals.
Rest and sleep. Your body needs time to recover from stressful events.
Don't rely on alcohol or drugs to reduce stress.

I have some bad habits, including staying up all night and watching too much TV, but the key to beating stress is relaxation.

I roll drunks

it is a two fold cure,..

1. It lets me take out my aggressions

2. It reminds me that no matter how bad life gets,.. the poor SOB I am whaling on has it worse (or at least at the moment)

I also kick babies sometimes to,.. It makes me feel powerful since they fly pretty far,... just sucks sometimes because if the parents chase after you instead of their soaring child it can be a bad day....
