What would you do if someone you just met is just very pesistent but you don't really like him. Would you let him know or would you ignore him and hope he gets the hint?

Ignore. Dont hurt him by saying you dont like him. If you keep ignoring, I'm sure he will soon keep away.

I would ignore him at first (maybe for a week) and then if he didn't get the hint just tell him

I would just say something nice to let them down gently. I wouldn't wait because it just seems like when you try to ignore somebody and hope they get the message that you don't like them it never works
