Totally cool... and it's really high elevation with strong winds, you have no choice but to hold each other to keep warm while checking out the nighttime view.
If you're into clubbing and don't mind the extra trendy environment, check out club Pearl

It was fun for me and a bunch of my friends.
if you like sports.. well I'll leave that up to you, but, never be afraid to call the Walk Disney ncert hall and Staples and ask what's the cheapest tickets int he house... you'll be surprised sometimes.
GOod luck and hace fun... dont' forget to check out UCLA, it's beautiful, and they have a sculpter garden and gallery and it's totally neo gothic brick and grassy green. Not USC though, it's kinda ugly and in a dangerous neighborhood. GO to the downtown library if you're into books... and check out www.borders.com, they might have author signings...

There are SOOOOOOO many different kinds of things to do in L.A. Can you be more specific about your personality and what kinds of things you like doing? Definitely go to the Venice Beach Boardwalk and the Venice Canals-they are a bit tough to find, but ask anyone in the Venice area and they will tell you.
