you know, I'm a christian and the God I love and try to serve isn't 'fooled' by 'feel sorry for what they did'. He sees hearts.
a man dying on a cross next to Jesus was sorry for what he did, the guy on the other side wasn't. Jesus told the first He'd be with him in heaven.
true faith is followed by walking it out. I'm sorry the people you've met who call themselves Christians have represented the Lord so poorly to you. they are only human.
don't make your decision about God based on other humans. its like walking around asking your gf/bf's classmates if you should marry them. find out for yourself.
God bless you in your journey.

I am an atheist so I don't believe in any God at all, but no one has ever accused me of being a bad person.
I don't expect to be perscuted for my lack of belief but then neither do I think it is right to go around trying to blame a person's religion for the fact that they are mentally unstable (have to be to kill 50 people) or that they have no conscience.
It's not the religion that is at fault it's the person.
There are just as many murderer's that do not ' accept Jesus'.
False premise and trying to make trouble, why do you want to behave like that?
Pointless and loaded question - get a life.

Do you know someone who did that?
I have never heard of such.
I do know this: if someone gets "saved" solely for the purpose of going out to kill people hoping he/she will be covered he/she is DEAD WRONG. Salvation doesn't work like that. God knows if one is sincere in his/her repentance. Do you really think He's that dumb?
Now, if a person kills 50 people and then asks forgiveness out of a remorseful heart and regret for what he/she has done then, yes, God does forgive that person. The "catch" is "GO AND SIN NO MORE."

Christians that judge are just fooling themselves, They are not true Christians. We are taught to be justified, loving, and to forgive. If anyone tells you that your a bad person for not sharing their same thoughts, its ridiculous. I am a devout Christian, but unlike a lot I don't think less of people that don't share in my beliefs. God gave us free-will you can choose to accept the Holy Spirit or you can chose to deny. Either way I pray for people like you everyday that you are not judged harshly and eventually find the Holy Spirit when your ready.

sin is sin, it is written in the bible, however, if a christian murders 50 people he is not forgiven in this life. murder and rape and suicide are sins unto death. lol suicide a sin unto death. I believe torture is also a sin unto death. in fact any christian might walk around free after killing someone but i guarantee you he is NOT forgiven. by definition a sin unto death is a sin that cannot be restored. for example if you steal 50 dollars you are not forgiven until you replace 200 $ or something of equal penence. If a man prays unto God and asks to be forgiven of his debts, he must also agrea to forgive all debts and of course that kind of transgression is forgiven.
as for the pyschology of dominion over other souls. it is common among christianity to rebuke their fellowworker for cussing in public. but they ignor the child molester or the witch who practices SEX magic. these sins are ten times greater than a simple mole hill of cussing with bad language. Many people even consider cussing and using the lords name in vain as the same sin. By far they are totally unequal. And cussing is not the same thing as cursing by degree a curse can be as simple as marshmallow or as completely evil as anything greater than poisoning someone.
I can say one thing that the bible says. Jesus said that if you dont believe in Jesus you are damned already. Yet, God said to Israel, they were forsaken because they left HIM and the prophet said that PAGANs worship God in MORE truth than Israel, the same thing goes for christians who follow Satan and call him Lord. see Rev 18:4

If Jesus brought the value to human life to the world and you think that is bad...it might make people wonder about you.
Then again, maybe you'll make horror movies, or write prison novels, and make it rich. I guess it's up to you. As long as you are happy with that. I'm sure OJ's happy in Florida. :)

a true believer will never say that. a true believer is the one who has religious tolerance but at the same time is firm and assertive in his/her beliefs. true believers are ones who set examples through their life of love and mercy, not killing.thats why jesus answered your question 2006 years in advance in one verse,"you shall know them by their fruits".

forgivness is for US... not them...
we forgive to get rid of the pain we hold inside...
accepting Jesus is not about being Good... we are ALL BAD PEOPLE... Reguardless if you Believe in Jesus or not... we all have sinned and missed the mark...
what counts is a personal relationship in Jesus reguardless if your bad or now...
