We call it nos, but yes quite a few people do it. I would suggest having it done professionaly, it gets a little spendy if you make a mistake.
The most popular nos system seems to be the boondocker, at least with the guys I ride with.

There are a few companys that make snomobile nitrous kits suck as boondocker. As for whether the motor will handle it depends somewhat on the sled and how much knowlegde you have with snowmobiles. Nitrous can be one of the hardest add-ons you can put on a sled. I know people who put it on there sled and did nothing but put new pistons in it every week trying to get it right. Unless the sled is for racing I would deffinetly not recommend it. If it is I would buy a good set of exhaust temp guages to give you alittle better idea of the motor is doing.

theres also the fact that you can:
A- blow it up while you're on top of it
B- flip it so it's on top of you
C- get arrested for using nox in a snowmobile

If you were to have it done, then have it done by someone that knows what the hell they're doing. But i would suggest against it.

PROPANE!?!?!?!?! You're seriously trying to hard to kill yourself.

Is 100 mph not fast enough for you? I value my life.
