An RN is paid the same since you are paid for the license. In my opinion a bachelors nurse is prepared better and is able to further advance their career like getting a masters degree. As for salary it depends greatly on the area of the country you work in. For example in or major cities Boston, New York, your looking at about 26/hr to start which working 36hrs is approx 50-60k depending on differentials Nights/evenings/weekend etc, but you can do much better than that. With those differentials your looking more at 30$/hr. Overtime is always available. Basically the money and work is there if you want it. FYI in California anything over 8hrs is considered OT so working 12hrs is like 16hrs. At my hospital in, they offer 15$/hr on top of your time+1/2 for OT so you can clean up pretty well. Working 4 12hr nights/week i clear about 1300/wk. So get to studying and good luck.
