I believe this is the teaching of some religions. If this is true than a child born in a country that mainly practices non christian beliefs, could die before ever hearing the word Jesus.

So some christian religions teach that this child will burn in hell for enturity..... Seems odd.... doesn't it.

So the Dali Lama, one of the worlds greatest champions of peace and love, will be going to Hell because he does not accept Jesus as his savior?

Not at all. Most likely those that do not believe in such things will have a better life and if there is anything after they will get the best of it.

Reason is simple. open minded people always will do better.

Religion closes minds.

the only hell u will ever know is Earth, u r right now in the middle of hell. the mind is its own place, and can make a heaven of hell, or a hell of heaven. How do we know this? From the first premise of God. God is all loving. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word "sheol" is the reference for our word hell. However, sheol is simply defined as an abode for the dead. There is nothing in that definition which speaks about wickedness or damnation. Those later uses were created by man.

It all depends. If and I do mean If, you had access to the Holy Scriptures and did NOT study them, and I do not mean read, I mean study as in research, like Isaiah said, verse upon verse, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little. Anyway, it would be counted against you, but if you never had any access to the Word of God, you would be judged upon whether you or not you were keeping the commandments of God as a natural way of living your life. God has said that there are those that do this and that they are His. Hell is not a place of torment, it is an event and does not last all that long, When we die we go the the grave and we stay there until the second coming of Christ in the clouds of Glory with the entire angelic host of Heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the Arch Angel, with the Trumpet of God, with turbulence in and on the earth, then the dead in Christ will rise and we that have survived the tribulation will both meet Christ in the air. Christ will NOT touch the ground at His second coming, But the Anti-Christ will,(this happens before the tribulation begins, but not before the national sunday law) that will be the devil satan himself impersonating Christ, but not the manner of His coming. When Christ, the Holy Angels, and the Saints leave this earth, the only things living will be satan and those angels that followed him into rebelling against the government of God.

The answer is an emphatic NO !!! "Hell" is not mentioned in the original translations of either, the Hebrew Old Testament nor the New Testament Greek language of the Holy Bible. "Hell" is a mistranslation of the words "Sheol" [Hebrew] and the word "hades" [Greek} . Sentencing people to a "hell" to burn forever would be manipulating people through fear - fear mongering ! "Hell" - burning forever in a fire - was an invention of the early Egyptians, later adopted by the Greeks. It was used to control the masses with fear. Everyone ever born, will be given their "kick" at the proverbial "can" when it is their time to come to both, know and accept Jesus Christ and have a relationship with Him - no one is going to burn - because Jesus is in the saving business not the condemnation business ! Religion promotes man made fear - Spirituality promotes relationship - A HUGH DIFFERENCE !!! Jesus LOVES children - He won't kill them ("burn" them) !!!

A person does not go to hell because they did not accept Jesus as his/her savior. A person goes to hell because God did not elect that person unto salvation.

Awesome Chipper S...

that guy hit it on the nail...

Jesus even talks about the measure you will be judged...

Jesus said it himself "a man can only do what he knows"... Jesus talked about measure in the bible dealing with Judgment many different times....

The measure of your understanding--children that are not at the age of understanding can not be Judged for rejecting the Gospel...

God made it easy for us... God is a JUST God.. his measurments are FAIR... Dont take my word for it... READ IT YOURSELF... the Bible has spread to EVERY NATION and EVERY TONGUE even though its outlawed...

enjoy your freedome while countless Christians are MARTERED for their faith...

FROM THE ORIGINAL TEXT:

IN ORDER TO BE A CANDIDATE FOR HELL,

You must have received a clear presentation of the Gospel and reject it.

There fore:
1. If you haven't heard the gospel---you cannot be responsible for rejecting the gospel.
2. Babies and young children cannot be responsible for rejecting the gospel.
3. Retarded people, or mentally challenged people cannot be responsible for rejecting the gospel.
4. If you live in a culture where Christ is never mentioned, you cannot be responsible for rejecting the gospel.

HOPE THIS HELPS, GOD IS NOT OUT TO GET PEOPLE. PEOPLE JUST NEED TO GET GOD.

That is the teaching and I agree with you that it is odd. But it is necessary for them to put this fear into their followers otherwise the religion wouldn't last very long.

If the person is Christian, then yes.
Faith is a personal thing. You place your faith in the god of your heart. Your faith is not the same faith as some other Christian. each man or woman believes differently. Even if they go to the same church.
Children without faith. People without faith become Benegot and if they are fortunate they are born to live again and find their own faith.
That, of course, is according to my faith.
