i'm working on a project and need some helpful feedback........i want to know how to blend a cranberry colored paint, and starting at the floor, working my way up, i want to go lighter and lighter,,,,how do i do this blending technique?

I would paint say a third of it or use a damp sponge and streak it through the top part of that. Then add a little glaze to your paint and again do the next third up. The control is all about using a damp sponge and glaze to water the paint down and rubbing.

The best way , i think, is to take the paint you have, and paint the bottom. You should use a sprayer for paint, kinda like an airbrush. If you want to use all the paint you have, all you have to do is add a little white for the next section, and so forth. That is how i would do it.

I think I would look for literature at a paint store or paint department. They have a lot of instruction literature in the departments.

You need to water-down paint to go lighter.
