A simple marinade for lamb is:
fresh rosemary chopped, thyme chopped (optional, garlic and soya sauce.
I also love satay sticks. Just cut up the peanuts, pour in some coconut cream, curry powder (not too much) and real peanut butter added to it is really nice also (you need to simmer the ingredients/fry them. Alternatively, you could just buy some marinade from the shops to coat chicken, lamb or beef for skewers.

A-1 makes good marinades..
Sometimes I will mix worchestire sauce, garlic, pepper and a cajun seasoning.
Depending on the size and cut of meat, let it marinade for at least 1-2 hours...

I like to use a mixture of 1/4 soya sauce, a couple tbsp maple syrup, onions and jalapeno peppers, best of beef. If slice it very thin and cook at low tempature for a long time it will make an excellent jerky.

A teaspoon of soy sauce
A teaspoon of salt
Mix this ingredients together and put it in the fridge. The longer you put, the better the chicken tastes.

Italian dressing is good, Beer, and they make tons of stuff you can buy at the supermarket. I like the honey mustard marinade but I can remember who makes it. Maybe Kraft.
