line guys use?

Here's the situation: my jeep has been running awful, this friend of a friend (a rather handsome fellow, I might add) fixd it and I am super neurotic about breakdowns (bad experiences being stranded before) so I asked him if it was dependable to drive and he says "honey i'd even trust it with my own mum"

As a guy, I can tell you that this may be just a simple figure of speech and nothing more.

Well, considering I wasn't there to witness the conversation, there's no final answer here. However, if you're asking if he's flirting just by that line he said that you put in quotes, I'd say no. People can call others 'honey' casually. Plus, fixing your car was a very sweet/polite thing to do. The answer to your question also depends how long you've known each other, other convos you two may have had, your ages, etc.

Well for starter a friend of a friend fix your car and if it had not been for the friend of a friend i really don't thing you would have met him, and because he call you honey is just to let you know that he believes in his work, he even trust it with his own mum.

I think he might be flirting. He's probably trying to show who is manliness with his expert mechanic skills. I know that i try to show off to my girlfriend, lol.

uh i think he was just answering your question. but then again, even if he was flirting, it doesn't necessarily mean he likes you.
