A good rule of thumb is to not assume that the relationship starts until you actually meet in person. Then, when you do meet, it's as if you were on a first date, and things can go from there.

thats the hype of online dating. just happened to me recently too. they get all excited and talk to you all the time, and then as soon as there is some strong connection they take off. most people are on there just to date and have fun, nothing serious. and then there are those few that want to have a relationship and find the one. sometimes people are just trying to get to know you as much and as fast as possible to explore thier options, and if there is something about you they are not looking for then they move on. and they dont have to explain why or even say goodbye. its online, so people dont have to be held accountable anymore.

In my opinion, if the guy is more interested in YOU than in your body and things don't go all physical as fast as everyone in movies and TV does, you have a good chance. Get to know each other before you get to know each other's bodies. And if it doesn't work out... you still keep yourself for the real Mr. Right.

I dont trust them.
I mean im sure there are lots of good people who really are looking for true love or friendships etc but i think there are two many weirdo's on them too, you never know whether to take them seriously. My advice is stay away from them cause there is a lot of RISK!!!!!

Agree to meet him somewhere public...if he shows, then you know he was serious. If he doesn't, well...
