How many years ago did God make Adam and Eve?

I just saw a question about dinosaurs and it made me think. I have heard that some religious people say the world is 6,000 years old. Is that true? Is that what you think?

I know the earth is billons of years old. I just wanted to see if some people actually do say 6,000. That is absurd.

Adam and Eve were created about 6 000years ago. The earth however is much older than that but the Bible does not say. No days are ascribed to the creation of the earth and days and time only begin when God says "Let there be light" and divides the light from the darkeness and marks the first day.

I was very interested about it too. I found that some 12,000 years ago, Adam and eve existed. But it is a hypothesis. It's not proven. So you can't take it as a fact.

Also, ask the scientists that how come they know how dinosaurs looked like? Or did they have hair? No one saw dinosaurs. Just by mere fossils and foot prints it is not possible to establish that dinosaurs looked like this or lived like this etc.

Did you know? Scientists still don't know 67% of all the dinosaurs. And most of what they know is hypothesis. So??

but the Earth is about 4.5 Billion years old

I think that the dinosaurs lived in an ancient world long before man,ie.Adam & Eve.That world was probably destroyed by earth's collision with an astroid,filling the sky with debris,blocking out the sun,killing everything and leaving the earth dark and void for milliuons of years.The Bible says darkness was upon the earth,and God brought light and so on !!

Hi there.

I believe that the world is 6,000 years old. Dinosaurs existed before the flood. They weren't on the arc with Noah, his family and the rest of the animals. This is my understanding.
