I am looking for someone by the name of Michael Mansell. He was a sous Chef working at Oxford University about 3 years ago. We were seeing each other and I would like to get in touch. If anyone knows who I am talking about please let me or him know that I am searching for him.

A difficult one this as Chefs get promoted and move on to pastures new. He may not even be in Britain any longer, let alone Oxford. You could try writing a letter to a catering magazine which is read in the restaurant or hotel industry such as "The Caterer". Also should someone know where he is and pass your message on, does he know where to contact you?

Go onto the Oxford Uni website and ask there otherwise it is the voters register. I wish you best of luck.

I agree,

Try Friendsreunited.co.uk, etc

Failing that, try contacting the college - although they won't be able to give you the contact details, they may be able to pass a message on. ( http://www.ox.ac.uk/ )

Failing that - you could always try writing a letter to the local newspaper (see http://www.thisisoxfordshire.co.uk/ for a list of newspapers).

you could also try www.192.com

They may have also signed up for things like ancestry.co.uk -- so try things like this too.

Good luck!

Actually, just found this site:
http://www.b4usearch.com/index.cfm?event=search_findPerson:Display&who=michael%20mansell&where=oxford

There are two entries at the bottom of the page
One has an address and telephone number
Be aware though that this may just be someone with the same name!

Hope this helps!!
