The Term dinosaur was not used until the 1840's it was first used by famous British scientist (and creationist), Dr Richard Owen, he coined the name ‘Dinosauria,’ meaning ‘terrible lizard,’ for this is what the huge bones made him think of.
The reason this does not appear in the bible is that the first english translations of the bible were not made until 1611
Interestingly, the word ‘dragon’ is used a number of times in the Old Testament. In most instances, the word dinosaur could substitute for dragon and it would fit very nicely. Creation scientists believe that dinosaurs were called dragons before the word dinosaur was invented in the 1800s. We would not expect to find the word dinosaur in Bibles like the Authorized Version (1611), as it was translated well before the word dinosaur was ever used.
Also, there are many very old history books in various libraries around the world that have detailed records of dragons and their encounters with people. Surprisingly (or not so surprisingly for creationists), many of these descriptions of dragons fit with how modern scientists would describe dinosaurs, even Tyrannosaurus. Unfortunately, this evidence is not considered valid by evolutionists. Why? Only because their belief is that man and dinosaurs did not live at the same time!
However, the more we research the historical literature, the more we realize there is overwhelming evidence that dragons were real beasts, much like our modern reconstructions of dinosaurs, and that their existence has been recorded by many different people, even just hundreds of years ago.

In the Bible, in Job 40:15-24, God describes to Job (who lived after the Flood) a great beast with which Job was familiar. This great animal, called ‘behemoth,’ is described as ‘the chief of the ways of God,’ perhaps the biggest land animal God had created. Impressively, he moved his tail like a cedar tree! Although some Bible commentaries say this may have been an elephant or hippopotamus, the description actually fits that of a dinosaur like Brachiosaurus. Elephants and hippos certainly do not have tails like cedar trees!

1 Dinosaurs ARE mentioned in the Bible. The word "dinosaur" wasn't invented until around 1860. The King James Bible was translated in 1611, so obviously it could not use the word dinosaur. They used the word dragon instead. Dragons are mentioned all through the Bible, even a fire breathing one called Leviathan.
2 Have you seen the inside of every cave in the world? Do you know for certain that there are absolutely NO cave pictures about Bible stories? Is it possible that some exist and YOU don't know about them?

You're totally confusing timelines. By the first century, (100 AD) people has long since stopped dwelling in caves, and painting on cave walls. Those things happened tens of thousands of years before events in the bible.
Dinosaurs are not mentioned in any cultures historical texts. The Chinese have history that goes back much further than the Christians, and they do not identify dinosaurs (although dragons are prominent in their culture, as well as many others.)
The awareness of dinosaurs as being what they were did not occur until the 19th Century. Before then people thought dinosaur fossils were the bones of known large animals like elephants and rhinos, so they would not be mentioned AS dinosaurs in any texts prior to the 19th Century.
Any person that found cave paintings or fossilized dinosaurs in biblical times would probably be terrified of postulating an advanced idea like an extinct species that predated humans. It would have been considered heresy, devil worship, or demonology, meriting death.

If you're going to take the Bible as an historical text, then there are about 65 million years that separate the two events.
And Great Flood stories are fairly common and ARE depicted in cave paintings - but remember, the events described in the Bible, if historically accurate, only take place in a small geographical area.

Dragons are mentioned. Dinosaur is a modern word, so you'll not find mention of it in old writings. They supposedly existed long before the sciences that study the distant past.
The creatures in cave paintings are believed to be part of the spiritual beliefs of the people that painted them. They would not be concerned with the distant past, but with daily survival. Many people, including American Indians (I'm told), have a Flood story.

Dinosaurs have been among the creations of God.
It is not possible to include complete list of all previous, existing or future lists/breeds of all the creations.
It has been left to the mankind to explore the world, find out what is possible and learn from the past for a better future.
All of the revealed holy Books provide guidance to mankind giving principles of a successful life. They are not in any case the encyclopedia to add knowledge which the mankind can otherwise acquire through their own research.
Bible does not stop us from undertaking research.
Learn from Bible how you can lead a peaceful and successful life.

Probably for the same reason they didn't mention flamingos, polar bears, or lemurs. They don't really add anything to the big picture, and the people who helped God wright the bible probably thought that putting in some random story about dinosaurs in the book of psalms to be about as important as we think adding some random story about elephants to the sound of music would be. I think there might be some reference to dinosaurs somewhere in the book of Job, but for the most part they probably weren't mentioned because they didn't really add anything.

Fact is that the Torah, aka Old Testament, is just 6,000 years old.
Most of it is fiction, anyway.
Leviathan, Behemoth and the dragons mentioned there smack of fiction.
Anyway, the word dinosaur only means "Big Lizard".
The Great Flood was probably a very localized event, if at all it's true, caused by the flooding of that region by water levels rising due to polar cap meltdown triggered by a tilt in the Earth's axis.
You might note that the list of animals quoted there do not include any animal outside that region and that, too, of very few of the local fauna.
Believing in this would be a folly.
Merry Christmas!!!!

Because the men who wrote the bible had no knowledge of the dinosaurs. Even assuming that the Bible was divinely inspired, what good would be accomplished talking about dinosaurs in the Bible.
