I haven't had the chance as of yet. My friend is a Muslim and I am a Christian, we talk a lot about the Quran and the Holy Bible. People would be surprised to know that the Quran condemns Terrorists and murders !!! Bin Laden and his Terrorists are condemned by Allah for their murders committed against others.

Yes, I did. I found the philosophy to be what one would expect of an uneducated person circa 600 AD. Much of the scientific understanding in it was still strangely up-to-date for the times, but so much of that scientific understanding is now known to be false.

At points, it was needlessly violent, and it contradicts itself sharply on the issue of the treatment of non-Muslims, and there's no middle ground between the two extremes -- either Islam is to rule the entire planet by any means necessary or Islam is to be entirely peaceful and non-converting. Considering the related Hadith, it's hard to accept the non-converting interpretation.

In short, after a critical review of it, I found it deeply flawed. I returned it to the local mosque when I was finished, I think it's unlikely I'll pick it a koran again. It just held no real interest to me.

Yes I have read the Qu'ran and have my own opinions (that I do not push off on others.) I have found that alot of comments are made by people who have absolutely no idea what the Qu'ran is all about...

Mecole:

That is not true! Why would they have it in the library if it was not to be read? They won't track you down, and they can't do to the freedom of the U.S.
