Ignore the prejudiced closed minded people...

Dianic Wicca is a Tradition inside Wicca. Kind of like Christianity has Denominations.

In Dianic Wicca, the goddess is usually the only worship and men are seen as somewhat lesser (though by no means as extreme as what Christianity pulled with women) but important. It's a feminist Tradition. Most Dianic covens are female only.

I personally consider them as one of the extremist Traditions (next only to Gardnerian Wicca).

Lady Dragon, I agree with you. I'd be hesistant to call it Wiccan if not for their other beliefs. Wicca is about duality. Dianic Wicca doesn't teach that and it seems to angry. Which also doesn't seem very Wiccan-like.

Dianic Wicca is a branch of Wicca, that emphasizes on the Goddess. It is also known as Feminist Wicca. The name comes from "Diana", which is another name for the Goddess. See my sources to find out more, but really you should just try a search engine. I don't know many places that have info on Dianic Wicca. Hope I helped, and Blessed Be!

Dianic Wicca is a feminist movement within the religion of Wicca. As the others said it mostly precludes males from their rituals, and only worship the Goddess.

Here's some websites:

Their rituals are much the same as rituals from other branches (Traditional Wicca) the difference is that (most) Dianics do not worship the God, only the Goddess.

Some covens, (not all) even exclude men from membership.

Other differences can be found here:

Dianic Wicca, Dianic Witchcraft, and Feminist Dianic Witchcraft are all common titles for the Neopagan Feminist Dianic tradition. While some Dianics self-identify as Wiccans, some prefer the term Witch or priestess of the Goddess. Dianic Wicca can be very similar to traditional Wicca in practice (see section below for a discussion of their differences), but differs significantly from it in beliefs. Most Dianic Wiccans worship the Goddess only, acknowledging that She is the source of all living and contains all within Her. There are Dianic witches who practice other forms of paganism (possibly including honoring a male deity or deities) outside of their Dianic practice. Some Dianics are monotheistic, some are polytheistic, some are non-theistic.

Most Dianics worship in female-only circles and covens, but there are mixed-gender Dianic traditions. Eclecticism, appreciation of cultural diversity, ecological concern, and familiarity with sophisticated concepts of psyche and transformation are characteristic. Contrary to some characterizations, the majority of Dianics are heterosexual or bisexual women. A minority are lesbian, and some of these are associated with the position of lesbian separatism.

From my understanding wicca is a balance.. not only nature but also male and female from reading this its very one sided, female.
I would feel this is very unbalanced. .Just my opinion.

Wicca is the witchcraft religion and Dianic Wicca is a sect off of Wicca. Dianic Wicca is basically Wicca that mostly for woman and they participate only in Goddess Worship.

Their Rituals basically depend on the female life cycles anything feminine really. As far as the kind of magic this is not really clear because in theroy it is all the same magic. In short form its wicca for chicks.
