serisouly, almost everyday, i live across the street from the church

I have had the brunt of 5 or 8 arriving on the door step for tea and biskets .. To tell me im an evil person in my own home.
And that they can help me. Even help me leave my husband.

I found pointing out logic helps. They really dont have much to stand on when your dealing with logic or even an understanding of the bible .. Then they cant manipulate the words to get you in.

I have since had friends that were mormans and total normal every day people. With no sign of trying to change me or anything.

The reason they do so is because they want to save you. Many people feel like it is an annoying tactic to go door-to-door preaching, but keep in mind they're only doing it out of love for their fellow humans.

I used to live near a Jehovahs Witnesses church. I thought it was annoying at first, but found that they were very nice people- even though I didn't agree with their specific beliefs. If it really bothers you, just tell them respectfully that you aren't interested and I'm sure they'll leave you in peace. But respect is the key issue here.

They do to drink caffeine beverages. A long time ago a lot of Mormons were sugar beet farmers, but their biggest buyer, Coca Cola, refused to purchase anymore from them because of the church's stance on caffeine products, so the church changed their doctrine to allow caffeine.
