I was Vancomycin in the hospital and Doxycycline at home for a week. It has nto been fun. I do tire easily.?

Sounds like you have/had some kind of infection. That takes a lot out of a person. I was on IV "vanc" for three months!

This also means it kills the normal flora that helps your body at times. (prime example:some women get yeast infections after taking antibiotics) The best thing you can do is follow up with your doctor if you continue to feel this way.

Thats some very strong antibiotics, what kind of infection did you have. This could be a reason why you feel tired. Maybe you need a blood test to see if the infection has affected your blood counts, like haemoglobin to see if you are anemic.
