Bad cold and sore throats always go hand in hand.

It usually begins with a sore throat...and finishes with a bad cold.

how do you fight!

firstly it depends on the weather prevailing there...if its too cold...keep urself warm using warm clothes, drink hot water...and avoid ice creams and chilled foods..

If u are allergic to any particular food...identify it and try to avoid that..

If its heredity then, consult ur doctor and improve ur immune system bu mild anti biotics..

all the best!!

I will start with the sore throat first. If you know of an asthmatic with a nebulizer, ask to borrow it ,and do the following. Place Ocean Mist [found over the counter ] in the medicine chamber and breathe in. repeat often. If you dont know any body with one then place one tablespoon of Vicks in a pot of boiling water and breathe in the mist. This will help with the cold also. Try chicken soup for the cold and add pepper. Your body needs to sweat out the infection. Heated apple juice and nutmeg also does the trick. I hope I have been of some help.

You should drink warm lemonade with honey in to sooth your sore throat. take some paracetamol to help with a high temperature, and drink orange juice cause vitamin c is good for a cold. viruses tend to go on their own within 7 days. if you are old enough a tot of whiskey and plenty of sleep is also good.

Take Echinecea and drink lotsa orange juice (Vitamin C). Give yourself lots of rest, and drink tons of water. And when you cough up mucus, spit it out, don't swallow it again.. because you're swallowing the influenza all over again and it has to work its way back up the throat and it'll stay for longer.
