There are soundbite type programmes on the Open University which might fill half an hour here or there! I know how you feel, I am semi housebound at the moment and it would be pretty tedious without TV and internet access.

Heres one for BSL (British Sign Language) I had a go a few weeks ago and learnt the alphabet in less than an hour! theres other things on there too.
