That is sure one good version! The Evangelical Christians being in charge!

I would say, the absence of any kind of belief, or hope, or optimism at all. Total lack of light, mental, spiritual, and physical light.

Now, I am not including atheists in that definition, because as they have said themselves many times they do have, if not beliefs exactly, though beliefs, too. A kind of logical thinking that still can lead to a positive path.

But I'd just have to say, absence of hope. But while we are still breathing there is hope. We just have to reach for it, however. And have some kind of belief or thinking strong enough to access it. If a person can't do that, that would be hell on earth, or beyond, but the answer it always there.

It is hell while it is out of reach, though, of our own making, I suppose. Just doesn't feel that way sometimes.

So you're hoping that at some point in your lifetime there's an ideological change in the executive office.

Mine is locked in a room, dying (at least feeling like it since hell is eternal by definition) of thirst with a filled Dasani machine (bolted to the wall so I couldn't break in), a single torn dollar bill and George Bush with his pocketful of nickels and dimes. Hell wouldn't be having the money for water but the machine refusing it. It also wouldn't be watching him attempt to count out a dollar's worth of change, only to fail ('Now how did I get to 67 with nickels and dimes? Let's try that again.') It would restraining myself from screaming at him for being unable to count out a dollar because that would send him into a childish fit, ending any chance I had to get water.

It would be "everlasting punishment, eternal damnation, lake of fire, second death, weeping and gnashing of teeth, the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever and they have no rest day or night", and many more from the King James Bible.

But you don't have to go to hell. Only a fool would go to a place like this when he didn't have to go there. Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. He can save a sinner from hell anytime by believing this good news by faith and receiving the free gift of eternal life.

Lower aspects to a multi-dimensional Universe. A cold, lonely place.
A place full of snobs who won't acknowledge each other. A place full of
frightening hallucinations. All these thngs have been described.
One movie had a man and woman having sex, and having sex, and having sex, but they couldn't get off, and having sex.
That was kind of freaky!
I had a dream once, and sometimes dreams are supposed to be our
memory of something that happened in the spirit world. Where I was
trying to move through fatty, red meat that was everywhere. Most unpleasant!

Hell is a great reason to become an Atheist. You see, spending eternity in a hellish place is not compatible with the notion of a loving and forgiving God. Therefore neither can exist.

Ask a; death camp survivor
Vietnam vet
woman or child in Darfur You don't have to fear a God or a hell after you die. For many hell is on Earth!
I would rather wrestle naked with a porcupine than hang out with evangelicals.

Revelation 21:8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

I imagine heaven is the location where all of the harp-strumming angels with their sissy little robes and fluttery wings resort to after they die... the ones who want 'peace, love and eternal life' forevermore.

But hell on the other hand, I think is just one big party with my good friend, satan. You can party all night and never wake up with a raging hangover again! It's the exact opposite of heaven, meaning it's NOT boring, and there's people jumping around at the heart of a death metal concert all night long.

Now, which one would you rather have? Heaven, or hell?

ha ha to yours

Imagine having a thirst that could never be quenched. Being horney but never allowed to have s-x, having a thousand razer blades slicing your body while lemon juice is continually being poured over you, Constantly hearing the wailing, pain and misery all around you day after day after day for eternity, Being tired to the point your eyes are burning and never being allowed to sleep, Bugs crawling under your skin and in and out of your mouth. Snakes and spiders crawling all over your skin and hissing at you constantly. Constant stomache pains as your insides cry out for relief. Feeling let down and hurt and double crossed everyday. Heating up until blisters form on your skin, Having the feeling of lonliness and dispair and the feeling of being rejected. And just to top it all off having in the back of your mind that you could have believed while you were living on this earth made the decision to follow God and you would have been ok, but instead you are here for eternity. One mistake you made that can never be rectified.
