You sound like a very loving and concerned Mama.
To ease your mind and make sure your baby is 'ok',
take her to the Vet.
Everyone here can second guess your situation,
but best if you take her to the Vet and make the
both of you feel better.
If she ate something that is irritating her stomach
it will cause major surgery issues if you wait for
it to get down to her intestines. Best to be safe
and not lose your Baby.
Good luck.

Diarrhea is a symptom that is so vague that you did the right thing by taking your dog to the vet.
Most of the time, the puppy just has worms.
The vet will explain to you about what worms are, what they do and how to fix your puppy.
If it is not worms, it can still be anything.
Sometimes, if you change a puppies food too quickly, or you give the puppy a new kind of food, this will cause diarrhea.
I am most confident that if your puppy is all up to date on vaccinations and has received a vet's exam, that it will be ok.
Do not give your puppy anything, unless the vet said to do it.
Just some information:
If your puppy has problems breathing, isn't eating, isn't urinating, or isn't having a bowel movement, then that's when you should be really concearned.
Remember, breathing, bleeding, eating, urinating and making bowel movements. Those are the bad bad signs to always watch for in your pet.
If it has none of those, then it's most likely going to be ok.

Your puppy needs deworming. Even if the stool sample comes back negative, she needs it. All puppies have worms and all puppies need deworming. You can buy a broad based dewormer over the counter at a good pet store, look for something with Pyrantel in it. Hopefully, your vet will give you some dewormer. But I have seen many puppies have clear tests and then have the worst case of worms 4 days later.
The two biggest symptoms are loose stools, and stinky!
Make sure you give her the right dose, don't give too little. Then you will need to deworm every 10 days for 4 weeks, then every 14 days for 4 weeks, then once a month for 3 more months.
They can be reinfested if not treated often enough. By treating often at first you will catch the worms in each stage of devolopment and will be able to get one step ahead of them.
Also, wash her crate and bedding really well and a bath for her too, if you haven't already.
Dewormer helps pretty quick, within 24 hours usually. If you treat your puppy and there is no improvement in that time then your vet needs to definetly re-examine her for something else.
Good luck!

She may have simply eaten something that's upsetting her. Or she may have some sort of obstruction. Has she been straining at all to evacuate her bowels? Or is it super runny with no problems? Your vet should be able to tell something from the stool sample. If she's still drinking normally as well as eating there shouldn't be anything terribly wrong. Did you change her food suddenly? It shouldn't matter but some dogs won't deal well with a sudden change. Perhaps she needs to be on a different food. Sorry but I'm only stabbing blindly in the dark from over this stupid Internet. Let me know what you find out won't you? I'll pray for her......

They say always go to the vet if your dog has diarrhea for over 24 hours, or is very young, acts lethargic, etc. Sounds like only 1 applies to your puppy, and your vet would likely have kept her for observation if it was that serious, wouldn't they? My dog had bad diarrhea a few months ago, but she was eating, drinking, playing like normal. And she was fine. About 2 days of not-so-pleasant potty breaks alternating w/normal ones, too, it was all over & she was totally oblivious to the whole ordeal, I think. (Even though she did have an "accident" in the car, all over her bed! And she was about not a small puppy at the time. So, so gross!)

Just keep a close eye on her. continue to watch for dehydration. If you have stool sample results coming it sounds like you have already taken her to a vet. Keep her warm, comfortable, hydrated and watch her for any change in her behavior. I.e. sluggish. etc. I would not feed her anything until you get the results. then treat as your vet suggests. If the results don't come you can always feed the pup a little rice with some hamburger in it. or some salt free meat broth.
good luck.
You are doing all the right things... just keep watching her and loving her as you already do.

Have you recently changed your puppies dog food? That could cause diarrhea. Did your puppy maybe get ahold of something ? did you give the puppy some table food for the first time? Any of this could give your dog an upset stomach. If your puppy had parvo I seriously doubt it would be at home with you right now let alone alive. Parvo strikes hard and fast especially in young puppies. You can give your puppy some pedalyt(the children's juice) to help settle its stomach. I think every thing will be fine with your puppy. Good luck!

It seems that your lil puppy may have eaten something that upset her stomach. If she is still playing and eating and drinking normally. Most likely thats, what has happened. DO NOT feed her for 24 hours straight. then start her off with a piece of dry toast or rice. Bland items first, then if she still has diarrhea you need to have her seen. If your stool sample comes back normal, then most likely she just ate something she wasn't suppossed to. Like most puppies do. So be strong and she will be fine. the best dog food is Eukanuba.

Get some pepto bismo and start giving it to her. It Willl not take long for her to go down hill wil diarrhea. Has she been wormed?
What food are you feed her. If you are feeding her a lot of can food it will give her diarrhea, so don't feed her much of that and none as long as she has diarrhea. Feed her good puppy food. If you don't have any pepto you need to get some tonight.
