I have given to the poor, open my home to the homeless.Worked to do what I can.I know my works is nothing to do with my salvation.I have asked God to always keep my heart tender toward the poor.I have been very poor.
God has blessed me,I share the blessing. My husband has given cars to people who needed them.I tell you not to brag, but to tell when you give.God gives back ,even more.Give and it shall be given unto you.
Good measured ,pressed down,shaken together,and running over.<><
Thankful for the blessing

There are differences between needs and greeds. If you truly needed money for food, clothing, shelter, of course I as a Christian would help (provided I was able to do so). However, if you needed money for a greed - a new Playstation 3, for example, I would not.

Negative. If you are in need, there are services to help you. I live in busy city and those panhandlers are every-frikin-where. Every stop light, every corner. Not only that, but their stories are very persuasive. They are literally professional beggars. If you need a meal, I often buy those food boxes (full of canned food) at the grocery store that goes directly to the needy.

Yes I have many times However I have never sent money to anyone unless I feel it is Gods will for me to do so. I dont recommend anyone send someone money or gifts without first praying about it.

i have given without even receiving back what i've given, and i dont think i'll be getting it back from them! and at that time i wasnt even a christian yet. this is more of a trust and relationship issue. and yes, surely i'll give to those who need it.
now that im christian, i learn to forgive my debtors, like the prayer goes. i hope you understand, its not about giving blindly, but giving to the ones in need.

If you were truly in need I would not send you cash. I would however send you what you were in need of if I had the means. "Silver and Gold have I not, but such as I have I will give unto you."

If I could I would , and have on several occasions, and I will again. Right now I and my family are the ones who are in great need so please pray for our finances.

So, are you asking for money, or telling us you've helped someone else out that needed money?
