If you're a beginer you should take time to heal and rest between sessions. If you train 2 or 3 nights in a row any injuries or strains you get on day one will be iritated even more on day 2 and 3. 4 days is alot, more than most established artists and fighters. IF it hurts rest it thats it. If you feel like you can handle 4 or more days a week go for it.
But unfortunatly some people who train often take along time to get good and others who train once a week get really good fast. Don't worry about the amount of days you are in the dojo worry about the level of training you do each day. Try to work out with more advanced partners and heavier guys.

Also if it is costing you money per class then trust me you aren't gonna learn in 4 days what you can't learn in 2 or 3. But if they charge you one fee for the month or year than sure get your monnies worth out of them.
But I can't stress enough if it hurts take a day off and rest. Cause you will end up being stuck at home for a week or more when you throw your back out or blow out your knee or shoulder...

Have fun and take your time to learn what you can well first don't worry about black belts and UFC titles....

I would go BJJ. I think it's more fun to learn, and it's easier on the body than Muay Thai. Twice a week for BJJ is fine.

4 is enough... dont overload your senses too soon. once you start to improve naturally as you mentally accept the techniques you can go more to improve, but for now just keep it at 4. going all day every day wont make you any better until the basics start to become natural to you. start slow, then pick up the pace as you progress. in your first six months, less is more. (4 is perfect)
