*note the guy is older than 18...her parents won't let her date....only a 40 min flight by airplane away.....should the guy wait or get a girlfriend?

An 18 year old dating a 16 year old is illegal in most states.

um, if you're the parent, and you try to make her wait until she's 18 to date...she'll go against you. girls feel ready to date at that age, you should just help her pick quality guys, and make sure that she does group dates. be involved, don't tell her no or it will drive her to them. just make her smart about it, and talk to her about it.
if you're not the parent, i have no idea what you're talking about. if you're a guy and you're 18 and wanting to date a 16 year old....you better make sure she's a really mature one.

well if she isn't allowed to date till she's 18 then the obvious answer is yes you should wait. who is it says that she can't date, her? her parents? you probably definatly want to wait a little while if she's only 16 and you are 18. things like that can get messy sometimes.
