I've noticed that anything said about ghosts/spirits is usually refered to by christians as being demons, so....why if it were demons would the room not be hot?

P.S. This is question isn't meant to offend anyone. Have fun with your answers :)

It doesn't have anything really to do with their "body" temperature. But rather something they to scare people I think. They are refered to as demons because they are fallen angels that impersonate dead people, ghosts, spirits or whatever. They work to decieve people into thinking that we have an immortal soul inside us somehow. The Bible makes it clear that death is a "sleep" until jesus returns. Spirits, ghosts, haunted houses, demonic possessions, all the same thing. But it is true that when there is demonic activity, one of the things that seems to happen is a very cold environment. A guy who lays carpet for my dad told me about that happening to him when he was in a "haunted" house. It was summer time and a literally freezing blast of cold wind came rushing down the stairs he was working on. He said there is no way it was airconditioning or anything else.

Well, if appealing to Christian background sources for information on what a demonic presence might be like, there are occasions in the Biblical text that indicate a man being possessed by a demonic spirit, but there's nothing really stating that the demon's presence made the area around him hot *or* cold.

The thing that interest me is that the Catholic faith says that Demons are from God, sent here to test our faith.

Demons are not always what spirits are, and some think they are from God.

I do think it is odd that when a "spirit" is present the room is discribed as cold, but it is, if it ever happens to you you will notice, I have seen some freaky stuff. I think it is suppost to represent the cold of the grave.

Yeah, the first time I suggested my bf bare. yet to get non secular & non secular...yeah, how did you comprehend you're literally not the in elementary words information? It actually seems as if there is an purpose universe populated with different sentient beings more advantageous or a lot less like you - yet perhaps this is all only component to your "information," even with it truly is. Or, perhaps i have only had too a lot of what Linz is having.

I'm not sure exactly why the temperature changes so. It does the same when casting a strong circle as well. But I don't believe it's a matter of good or bad spirits. Simply an attribute of them all.

Blessed Be

As a general rule of thumb, my thoughts on supernatural phenomena always assume that they don't do that much that would make basic scientific observation impossible. So in general, I assume that if there is any such phenomena, they're susceptible to conservation of energy and mass. Ipso facto, if one area is cold, another area must be warm. The question is how is that barrier of heat composed without expending any form of energy (kinetic, themral, or otherwise).

In those paranormal shows, they always have the thermal imaging cameras which tend to show hotspots, rather than cold spots, so who knows.

In theory, a spirit making its presence known is using energy to do so. The spirit, lacking much energy reserves on its own, will drain batteries or even the heat from the air in order to manifest.

It's a common misconception because people often attribute a chill or goosebumps on their back to a spirit when they are spooked. It even works in reverse. A person can psychosomatically produce this effect when they think a spirit is near.

Why would it be hot..they don't come from hell.
Hell is a place that is reserved for them.
There are no ghosts..when we die, we leave this world and meet our Maker.
Demons make the hair stand up and cold chills run up your back...I hate them..Why cold?!...let me ask you this..do you feel all warm and fuzzy inside whenever you get real scared?..same thing..demons carry fear.
But God, on the other hand..when He's around..there is a warm feeling of peace, love and a feeling of security.
