In my case, born Catholic converted to Islam then born again(protestant) but as we all sing if your heart is like mine, give me your hand and my brother you will be. God bless you. Keep the faith.

Lifelong Catholic. Not Roman Catholic, but very Catholic.
The Most Holy and Blessed Sacrament of the Altar is what keeps me going, too.
Welcome home.

I was raised, "pro Catholic", and then became born again. I know that's not what you asked, but I couldn't not answer.
By being raised protestant, I assume you don't mean that there was a time when you became saved. I don't think it's too likely for a man to realize his lost condition before God as a lost sinner in the filthy rags of his own self righteousness(Is. 64:6)on his way to hell, and then understand what God did for you by sending His own Son to die for us, saving us from hell if we trust Him alone, apart from any works(Rom 4:5, Eph 2:8,9), and then turn to a church that totally denies all of this saying works are necesary for salvation. I guess it's possible though.

I've always been what is called "Protestant." I'm non-denominational Christian and I would never believe in Catholism or anything else. Nothing else makes sense or follows The Holy Bible closer than actually following the Bible.
