You can compare your puppy's maturity wth these puppies, and get a pretty good idea if your pup is progressing the same.

My breed (Alaskan Malamutes) has prick ears, and generally, if the ears are standing at 5 or 6 weeks, they will be prick ears as adults. If the ears aren't standing just as the pups are going to be weaned, sometimes they need help to stand, if they ever do.

The ears will flop again as the pups are going through teething, with them being down for a week, up for a day, one ear up, one ear down, for several months.

If you want prick ears (and it sounds like you do!), there are some things you can do to help:

Be sure your pup is on a good food, with plenty of calcium. The teeth and bones get the calcium first, the ears last. If there isn't sufficient calcium, the ears simply won't stand.

Be sure you don't treat the ears rough. The cartiledge in the ears is very fragile when the pups are young and can be irretrievably broken by rough play.

Be sure when you play with the ears, you gently stroke the ears in an upward motion, from base to tips.

If the ears are going to go up, they should be firmly up by 6 months or so. But I know of several dogs in my breed whose ears suddenly popped up at age 2 years, some even later!

You never really know esp with a mix, I have a purbred rat terrier and they have both stand up and lay down ears, His ears stood for like 3 days and then layed and stayed.. I dont think you will really know for sure until the dog is at is maturity, but if the ears are going to stand up you will probably see them stand then flop for awhile. you can always assist them with tapeing but you should ask your vet about that since i am not to familure with it. But I day there is never a fasure thing until full grown or at least 6 months

it should be when gets gets a lot more active in his environment depending on the dog really, there is a chance that they will not stand up too

There's absolutely NO WAY to predict ANYTHING about MUTT/MONGRELS.
