A very religious man lived right next door to an atheist. While the religious one prayed day in, day out, and was constantly on his knees in communion with his Lord, the atheist never even looked twice at a church.

However, the atheist's life was good, he had a well-paying job and a beautiful wife, and his children were healthy and good- natured, whereas the pious man's job was strenuous and his wages were low, his wife was getting fatter every day and his kids wouldn't give him the time of the day.

So one day, deep in prayer as usual, he raised his eyes towards heaven and asked:

"Oh God, I honour you every day, I ask your advice for every problem and confess to you my every sin. Yet my neighbour, who doesn't even believe in you and certainly never prays, seems blessed with every happiness, while I go poor and suffer many an indignity. Why is this?"

And a great voice was heard from above:

"BECAUSE HE DOESN'T BOTHER ME ALL THE TIME!"

Indeed, to be religious does not mean believe in Lord, and in the best of life
Some people don't see the difference, and when something wrong happening they think the Lord is angry, but when something good is happening , not everyone is thanking the Lord for it!

Thus, Doesn't really matter if you go to church and pray every single day, but If you truly believe in Lord.

Friendly joke is to be religious without faith and true love for Lord.

The answer is a little harsh.
But I am in a place where I don't know who or what I believe in, and my life is perfect for me. Someone may answer my thoughts but I am not for sure who or possibly what god. So possibly athiest or just lost in confusion.

It is a nice way to get the word around that you can still have a wonderful if you don't believe in what the majority of others do.

Thanks for trying to make us who are undecided feel a little bit better.

I've always liked this joke...

A priest was walking through the park and sat down at a bench near a man who was feeding some pigeons.

After sometime of sitting together the old man sneezed and in all politeness the priest told the man "God bless you"

The man turned at the priest and screamed at him. "STOP SHOVING YOUR RELIGION DOWN MY THROAT!"
