For "serving Jesus" we are not catholic either lighting candles is not for that it is just a memory for loved ones on Christmas eve we all have always gathered together to light a candle for each member in our family who had passed on we put them in special bags with sand or cat litter and place them outside they then burn all nite long in honor of that person's memory thank you for your kind words

Yes, I will. I too have lost a child, and should you ever want to, please feel free to e-mail me. I don't know that I could help you, but I sure would try to if I think I could.

Peace and strength to you.

Edit: I tried to answer your e-mail, but ran into that familiar Yahoo glitch, and it wouldn't go through. Please feel free to contact me at dlblakemore@verizon.net.

If I might be able to help, I am more than willing to. Please know that there are people who care.

Since I neither knew your daughter nor am I Catholic, and therefore I really don't understand the practice of lighting candles, I don't feel it appropriate to do so. However, I will say a prayer for you and for your family, and a prayer for both the law's justice and God's mercy for her killer. May God bless you and keep you, your family, and all those who knew and loved your daughter.

A candle will be lit and a gift to spirit offered for the child. I will also light one for you. May time heal the pain in your heart and may you remember her as the sweet gift she was.
En Tis Blethec. Peace be yours and those you love.

Hey, may God be with your family and her always, take care.

Do not worry, surely God will do what is right for her. That guy will pay; justice will prevail. Remember the LORD said : "Vengeance is mine, i will recompense." Trust in the Lord always.
