I've known this guy for 3 years We regard one another as brother and sister on an outing yesterday, he was acting very weird. When i met him and we were waiting for a friend who was late, he gave me a christmas present. (Note that he didn't give the other friend who's male). Then he invited me to his house on New Year's, saying his mum wanted to see me. He didn't invite the other friend. Then while we were walking to the cinema he pointed to me and told the other friend " I like girls like her".
when we were having lunch i wanted to eat Clam Chowder but was lazy to get it myself and he volunteered to get it for me. So of course i agreed, but he rushed thru and fro twice to ask me what size i wanted and whether i wanted pepper. While watching the movie Happy Feet, i called him a penguin and he said " Then you're a penguin too, since you're a penguin's sis".
What are the chances he likes me, and why?
When he said i'm a penguin's sis, could it be because he couldn't say gf and such ?

i'm scared i'll ruin everything if i ask whether he likes me. what if he doesn't, that would be so screwed. Right now i'm happy with the brother sister relationship, and i'll be happy too if we proceed to something deeper ...

He likes you. Go with it.

If he is a good friend you should be able to ask him if he has developed feelings for you. If he genuinely has not, nothing should be ruined at all. If he has and you get together, there is a chance it may not work out and things will never be the same again. But if he has those feelings things will never be the same either. Also if you never get into a relationship for fear of spoiling a friendship, you are going to miss out. There is nothing wrong with a relationship that is also a friendship. After all it is generally a good thing if you actually like your boyfriend and enjoy his company.

Well if you want something more you should ask him how he feels. If you don't then just leave it like it is or make it clear to him that you only want to be friends. In most friendships like that its a happy ending being together. But you don't want either of you getting your hopes up if nothing is going to happen, the longer you wait the more hurtfull the outcome might be for one of you. I would say he does like you go for it.

Are you in love with him? I think thats the real question. If you are too scared that you might be wrong about his feelings, just leave it for a while to see how things play out. When the time is right, you will know.

i think of there's a factor human beings that desires to be significant. that's why we see this area flooded with questions of "what's the meaning of existence?" that's why God is that the style of arguable subject be counted, that's important to us, to appreciate that we propose something. We look for popularity and as quickly as we don't gain that we are in a position to sense incredibly down. Love is something that conquers this and greater. We sense a feeling of connection, we sense important, significant. human beings dedicate their finished lives to attaining those varieties of thoughts. yet right here that's, all in the single equipment. And coming right down to the fundamentals, all of us have sexual choose, that's enriched as quickly as we do such act with somebody we adore. confident there could properly be a painful area to it, yet from a philosophical stand element, in basic terms you could enable somebody to break you by employing taking issues to coronary heart. will we choose it? i do no longer think of so. yet will we choose it? confident. Why would not you? The positives outweigh the negatives.

there's always a good chance he'll like you, because the line between love between friends and love between lovers is very thin...anybody could accidentally trip over it and land on either side! but the only way to find out for sure, is to ask him... if he's close to you, then he will understand why you's ask him this, talking always helps...good luck!

You like him? If so, then ask. Or if you're scared that you guys won't be able to be friends again, wait till he asks since he seems like he's dropping hints for you. If you don't and wish to stay as friends, don't ask.

let it be,you instinct is right.just be friends and don't risk it.just be yourself and live your life, and when he sees you living your life and having other friends then you will see how he cares for you,but let him make the first move in that direction.two reactions, one he will be happy for you,or two he will not want to share you with anybody else, and then he will carry it to a new level.
