look in the yellow pages for a charity that takes cars...then call them up. some non charities will give you $50.00 for cars. i've seen advertisements that say they will accept any car, title or no. so just call a bunch and ask them. now is a great time for income tax reductions.

You may get some help by calling the DMV and ask if there is a LEGAL way to get rid of it. You are not the legal owner since you never received the title. You can't "make up a bill of sale" and sell it because it isn't yours. Junk yards require the title.

If you decide to abandon it somewhere, try to remove the VIN (etc) so they can't trace it back to you and charge you for littering/disposal or whatever ordinances they might have around there for doing such a thing. Trouble is there may be more than one and you don't know where!!!

Abandon it on a public street in a no parking zone. The city will tow it and sell it at auction. I am assuming you didn't want any money for it ?
