ive been trying to propose to her for a while now but everytime i open my mouth i just cant find the right words i dont want to feel stupid and i know she feels the same way about me that i do her. ive brought up being engaged and she said she would definatley want that kind of commitment from me. so what do i do. her birthday is tommorrow and i plan on doing it then.

Write it in her card. WILL YOU MARRY ME? Then just look cute when she opens it. Then you won't really have to say anything.

If you know she wants that kind of commitment from you where is the nervousness coming from? Maybe you want the proposal to be something she'll remember? If so you might want to hold off and just think of a way to propose to her such that you won't have any qualms or second thoughts of doing it that you go out there and do it. If you're planning on doing it tomorrow then just think of what you're going to say and perhaps rehearse it. Maybe get one of your female friends to sub as your fiance to be and if you make your friend cry in happiness you know you're ready.

If you can't find the right words, or have a very hard time spitting them out, do it with a post-it. Now while this is never a way to break up with a girl a post-it will have sentimental value you both can laugh at for years to come.
She might even go so far as to have the post-it laminated, and framed on her wall.

Before you ask her, take a shot of vodka to loosen you up. You're WAY too tightly wound. You need to focus on the task at hand and not your nervousness.
(Normally, I would never suggest to drink in this manner, but I see this as an emergency and not something I would recommend for all occasions.)

Just place the ring in front of her. It cant be worse than the way my husband did.... while eating artichokes, he said I should go pick out a ring. SIgh, I married him anyway because he is the love of my life.

just tell her that you love her, and you can't imagine your life without her in it, and will she marry you. don't do it in a restruant or anything though, surprise her. do it when it's unexpected. just tell her those things though, and that's all it will take. tell her what's in your heart, tell her you're nervous, tell her you can't find the words to say. she'll love every minute of it, and love you more for being so brave and open about how you feel.

its cute to be nervous. dont worry about it. and dont worry about feeling stupid in front of her. if you love eachother, she wont think you look stupid at all. she will think its cute that you are nervous. say whatever comes to your mind
