There's probably not an easy way. You'd just need to balance what you risk losing with the difficultly of getting it back.
If you two should stay away from each other, having a third party recover your stuff, would probably be the best way to go about it, a girlfriend, not a guyfriend.
If he isn't receptive to that, and you're stuff is worth the trouble, the police would be willing to assist you in the recovery of your possessions.

You definitely need to go the route of the police, but the cops are ALL about the law. If by "your stuff" you mean clothes, well I dont think you'll have much trouble convincing the cops that the womens clothes in the house is yours and not his. But if its something like electronics, jewelry or anything expensive, you will definitely need proof, like a receipt. If the receipts are in the same house as him, fine. Tell the cops where to find them. Expensive stuff is usually paid for with a credit card, which will be listed on the receipt.
Good Luck!

Yes. Chalk it up as a loss. Best to cut all ties, and if that means losing some possessions, so be it.

If it's your property and the police already know about your case, set up a time with the police to escort you to his place so they can be there as you get your stuff.

well...talk to the police about how to get stuff back and maybe have them help you out.
i would just say, dont be suprised if your ex tries to claim your stuff as his...so unless you feel like going to court over tuperware i would suggest that you shouldn't expect to get much if he is really crazy.
good luck

Get the police to go with you to get your things when he is home so that he can't accuse you of stealing his things. You have a right to get your stuff.

Involve the police, have them go with you to his house to get your stuff....with your situation, it's the best and the safest suggestion. Think about it. Best of luck to you............
