I would like to know if it is alright to ask God why something has happened if we are neglecting him more and more. Is he really to blame? If you push someone away how can they help you. Oppinions and thoughts welcome.

God is not the blame, people are the blame for taking him out of everything. if you draw close to God, He will draw close to you. If you draw away from God, He will draw away from you. But He will never forsake you completely.

Suzie, I would suggest you move toward spending time with someone walking close to the Lord. A single post here probably won’t be satisfactory. God has your answer, don’t move away from the one who can help you…I would suggest. It is great that you’ve gotten into God’s word. Suffering for a little while may be referring to time here. If you haven’t, I would suggest to take in consideration the verses before and after 10. A single verse can be incomplete often. I think suffering can establish you. It does say “in Christ” though, Do you know what this means? If you claim Atheism, is this an option? Below is link to a teaching. I would suggest if you watch it that you compare it to the word you’ve read (does it line up). It won’t have all your answer yet it may have some. Did you read the Holy Bible…or was it something else? Suffering comes through poor choices. Sin can affect others too. Satan, Adam, myself, any one of us. Doing something God has asked us not to affects more than ourselves. God does allow suffering. He also has a remedy/is restoring what was. Even a body w/o decay. You have read and seen how He works. As you read, did you notice He doesn't always do what we would? Can you trust His way? Please contact me if I could offer more. Edit: The first 9ish minutes is congregational.

No, I do not think God is to blame. One of his gifts he has given us is the freedom to choose how we want to be and live. He had told us how he would like for us to live, but gave us a choice. That started with Adam and Eve when they chose to eat of the Fruit of the Tree Knowledge. He is a loving God, but as with our own children, he lets us take the consequences for our actions. And when we pray for something and we didn't get it. His Answer was no. If it comes about in a different way then we thought he is showing us what is best for us.

Yes, he's still to blame. After all, he's supposed to love everyone.

Certainly he's to blame... isn't it supposed to be about your "personal relationship?" and not a societal relationship?

Besides... a creator of all?... certainly he earns the blame.
