i want to have my bedroom theme kinky. like having handcuffs hanging up and stuff. do you have any ideas?

There's plenty of stuff on the internet to help inspire you with this. It depends on your budget really, the sky is the limit. Also if you want functional stuff or if it's just for show. I'd start with handcuffs They are easy enough to get hold of and not that expensive. Also reasonable easy to put out of sight in the event you have a visitor that might be easily offended.

My daughter asked me to go with her to choose hers but perhaps it's not always a mother daughter experience. She hung them up with several long, wide strips of black material from the ladder of her student bed. I never inquired if they were functional or just for show, some things parents and children just shouldn't know about each other I think.

As for other accessories you can get some good stuff on Ebay. I got a whip for a reasonable price, but be careful, if you want one that's actually usable and not just for show you need to spend quite a bit of money. Cheaper ones are too stiff to give proper control and can cause injuries.

If I had limitless funds for such a project, I saw the most wonderful bed at a fetish fair in Kings Cross (London) a few years ago. it was amazing 4 poster, rubber swing (I'd love on of those) chains, manicals, the lot. That would sort the men from the boys.

Find a book called "Kinky Krafts". That should get some ideas going for you.

Personally, I would put a St. Andrews Cross in the corner, or a Catherines Wheel. You also might consider making a slave stool, which is quite easy to do. Spanking benches are also quite simple to make... Actually, there are any number of free-standing pieces of equipment to put in there if you have the room.

I'd also make sure there are plenty of toy displays set up around the room. For instance, you might hang paddles, whips, and floggers on one wall, and balance out the look by putting a display of insertables on the opposite wall. You'll probably want to just put condoms and lube in bowls on the nightstands.

Truthfully, your first step shold be to define your kink a little, and start working on your playspace from there. There's not much point in getting the room together with things that you aren't really interested in, or don't know how to use. If you are just into D/s, but not S&M, then your needs will be different than someone whose interests are S&M, but not D/s.
