Actually, I think it says not to lie down with your brother. So maybe it should be practiced more often... Love should never be a sin.

No, there's a bunch of stuff about men laying with other men, mostly in the context of non-consensual man-rape, but there is little if any mention of lesbianism.
But as has been mentioned thousands of times before, nobody actually cares about the thousands of nit-picky little details that are declared abominations in Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The Bible Thumpers are apparently unable to read the prohibitions against anything except when it relates to sex. Can't imagine why this is ...
Also, I concur with Aquila (as usual) - if there is a god, s/he couldn't possibly have a problem with lesbians. Except possibly that there just aren't enough of them.

Norman Mailer once wrote an excellent article, titled
"The Most Dangerous Book In The World". Of course he was referring to the Bible, which probably could also be called the most boring book in the world, or the worst book in the world. It has been a constant surprise to me for years that people can be so foolish as to think so little of what they call God as to call that mishmash the "word of God". The few passages that contain wisdom or poetic beauty are so small in comparison to the contradictions and violence and just plain nonsense that it is hardly worth looking for them. So, to answer your question, try thinking for yourself. Oh yes, judge not lest you be judged. Love thy neighbor.... Treat others as you would have them treat you. I could go on, since another constant surprise is how regularly so called Christians violate the most simple and basic principles attributed to Christ, especially when they cite their religious prejudices to condemn people who are different from them. We have another lovely example of the value of religion in Iraq and the whole middle east, with all the devout noodlebrains killing each other over some old stupid religious argument. Its like, get a life you imbeciles.

There are a whole slew of things that people beat their bibles about which are actually tribal laws which made a lot of sense at the time, and were written down with the "Word of God" to give them more authority. If anyone gives you flack about it just remind them of some of the other things that the bible says.
1) Stone to death disobedient children
2) Never eat pork
3) Kill anyone who works on the Sabbath day
4) If you curse at your parents you are to be killed (Leviticus20:9)
If your accusers actually follow all of the laws mentioned in Leviticus then they might be able to tell you about following the bible word for word.

Having intercourse with yet somebody else who isn't between a guy and a girl who're married to one yet another is a sin in accordance to the Bible. yet God provides believers to means to triumph over those temptations and to stay a replaced existence in Christ. a million Corinthians 6:9 Do you no longer comprehend that the unrighteous won't inherit the dominion of God? don't be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the dominion of God. 11 And such have been a number of you. yet you have been washed, yet you have been sanctified, yet you have been justified interior the call of the Lord Jesus and with the aid of the Spirit of our God. All sins are "mortal" if a individual has no longer relied on in Jesus for their salvation. John 3:sixteen For God so enjoyed the worldwide that He gave His basically begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shouldn't perish yet have eternal existence. 17 For God did no longer deliver His Son into the worldwide to sentence the worldwide, yet that the worldwide with the aid of Him must be saved. 18 "He who believes in Him isn't condemned; yet he who would not have self assurance is condemned already, because of the fact he has no longer believed interior the call of the only begotten Son of God. a individual who struggles with a besetting sin can nonetheless be saved yet a individual who's conscious of a few thing is a sin and that they simply shrug it off and save on doing it is not a individual who has been saved first of all in accordance to the Bible because of the fact they have on no account been born lower back with the aid of the Spirit of God. a million John 3:7 expensive toddlers, do no longer enable all people lead you off track. He who does what's powerful is righteous, purely as he's righteous. 8 He who does what's sinful is of the devil, because of the fact the devil has been sinning from the commencing up. the reason the Son of God known became into to break the devil's artwork. 9 no individual who's born of God will proceed to sin, because of the fact God's seed remains in him; he can not go on sinning, because of the fact he has been born of God.

The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When a person continues in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.
God does not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us that a person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of their own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for then to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality.
However, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Yes, it is. It's a deadly sin just as homosexuality Romans 1:24 :
24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Check the last part of verse32,
