Ok, I have a boyfriend who I love and we've been through so much together over the years...last year we broke up and were apart for almost a year, then we got back together in September. Now in October he left for Montana for JobCorps and he will be gone til next Nov. He comes home for Christmas (In 6 days!) and once in July for a week, but other then that we don't get to see each other. My best friend is a guy and we spend alot of time together (like, alot. I work for his company as a receptionist) and he's like, in love with me I guess...I always thought we were only friends, but lately I've been wondering if it could be more...I think about him one day not being in my life and I can't stand the thought of it, I dunno what I would do. I love my boyfriend and if we break up again it will probably be over for good...but I can't ignore thinking about my friend and what potential could be there. My bf comes home in 6 days and I dunno what I should do!! Can you guys please help me???

no, u cant love 2 people at once, its just obvious that you lost interest in the guy at jobcorps cuz he isnt there....so jus leave him cuz he doesnt need someone who cant wait for him, if you really loved him after all you've been through...you should b able to wait for him and not b doubting your feelings......

Honestly I'm not sure if you can love two people at once. Personally, I don't think you can. The fact of the matter is you spend A LOT of time with your friend and very little time with your boyfriend. In situations like this its totally understandable. I think what you need is to spend (at least) one day with your boyfriend and see if the sparks are still there. If you find that you're thinking more about your friend then you have the answer. In the end, you have to follow your heart. You won't be wrong if you trust your own judgement. Good Luck♥

Be careful, you may not actually be in love with your best friend. Could be that he just happens to be there and your boyfriend isn't. Could just be infatuation. If you truly love your boyfriend, don'y make any rash decisions. Think it through. I do think it is poissible to love more than one person, but not be "in love" with more than one at a time. If you are in love, you want what is best for that person, you want to be there for them. You can be there for them totally if part of your heart is elsewhere. Good luck

yes, you can love two people at the same time but with different intensity. weigh your situation seriously. you should choose only one person to love faithfully. analyze the odds. maybe you're just overwhelmed by this friend of yours. or maybe you just miss your boyfriend so much that you end up getting emotionally attached to this friend of yours. feel and think. it's only you who knows who you really love the most. good luck.

To chris s: Only if you're Muslim.

To You: You really should talk to your boyfriend about how you feel about him being away from you for so long and that you would miss him. Ideally, you should try to stick with your boyfriend and perhaps set your best friend up with another good friend of yours who is female.

But talk to your boyfriend first and see how things go. Good luck.

Let me put it this way, there is always this one person who holds a part of your heart no matter who else comes along. So yeah you can love more than one person at a time but the intensity is different.

you can love 2 people at once, but are you in love with 2 people, probably not. you need to think of who is the person you can see yourself with, which one you would do the most for if he needed it.

its possible to have two loves at once but thats hard coz ur always hurting somebody.. just take time to listen to your heart and rationalize as well. its better to choose one than loose both in the end.

You wrote: "My best friend is a guy . . . and he's like, in love with me I guess."

You didn't write that you even liked this best friend of yours romantically.

Stay with the boyfriend until you figure out what you want.
