Yes I have met somone online, and it turned out he was the greatest man I'd ever met in my life. And I married him!

Yes I have. We talekd online forr a year and a half while he was deployed in Iraq. While he was oveer there we wrote daily and we exchaanged pics and everything. The week he returned we met. We dated for a year afterward. We have stopped dating since then, but we are still great friends. Not to mention he is back in Iraq (he ia in the ARMY).
My point is this: You can meet anyone online. But as long as you are both being honest with each other you will be fine.
I have met others from online also, but just as friends. However, both of my parents have met there current spouses online.
Don't bee scared of the internet, you can find everything you need here. But don't coound on it for every thing. If someone on the other end is lying, your in trouble. But is issn't all troble like eveeeryone is making it uot to be.

Yes, I've met several, and they were, how should I say, interesting, and it certainly was enlightening.
Did we like each other as much as we thought we would? Yes in many ways, I believe so.
Would I ever tried meeting anyone on line again?. . . . . ,You mean seeking a relationship? No, an emphatic NO, but that is just me.

I have met a person online who is now one of my best friends. He even came to where I lived and stayed with me for 2 weeks on a vacation. Completely sweet. We had dated for awhile but we lived quite a ways from eachother and I always thought he was better as my friend than as my boyfriend. We still talk to this day but he took the break up pretty hard.

I met my wife online, our first date lasted 2 1/2 days. We have been married over 5 years now and have 2 kids. I would be carefull and if you do plan to get together with someone, meet in a netural spot.

I actually met someone in a game of HALO. We talked and got to know each other online. Then we met and hit it off. :P
When we were about to meet, I was so SOOOO nervous. I was afraid I wouldn't like him once I saw him. I thought it was going to be so awkward. But everything turned out fine. Instead of meeting a complete stranger on a blind date or something, you get to know them FIRST and THEN meet the "stranger." lol.

I met one person from on-line and I will never make that mistake again. Although I has seen pictures of him, they must have been almost 10 years old and he looked nothing like them anymore. His personality was also not much like he had described it either. I'm sure there are lots of honest guys out there, but once bitten twice shy.

yes i have met people from online --- yes and no --- the feelings were still there but there is a lot more to a person than online and we found that the day to day life was not comfortable and we parted --- on good terms i must add

Yes I have and I liked her alot. We talk quit a bit on the phone now. We have common interests in animals and give each other advice.
