There is this bloke that I have met that I rather fancy. Everyone who has seen us together says that he feels rather interested in me as well. Well, problem here is, I am only 17 and I'm guessing that he is around 23 years old. The age of consent where I live is 17, so legality is not my issue. What I'm worried about is that people may look down on him if we were to get serious.
What are your opinions?

I don't think that that is a huge age or maturity difference. I wouldn't look down on you guys, but I can't speak for everyone...

get a life you need to be with someone who is not hanging around young girls still in school those guys are losers who no other gals want no matter what you think they can offer you it isn't enough

age difference is not an issue. perfectly acceptable. it will be better once you are in your 20s, past the teenage stage, so hang in there - people shouldn't care if you like him.

jus find someone closer to your age...cuz imma guy trust this, older guys dont go for younger girls unless we think they'll b easy to get in their pants.......we dont really look for long lasting rerationships with the younger girls...they're jus for fun....sorry.

your priorities are going to be so different until your 25. If you can accept that you are going no where then have fun. Please figure out how old he is before you go further.
