They usually grow back, sometimes the spot gets infected. You probably know by now that you shouldn't scratch them. Over the years as you get older you want to watch your moles to see if they ever change colors or get infected for a long time. They can cause skin cancwer problems, but seldom do. I have six and I just look at them from time to time.

moles are underneath your skin and over the skin. it can be cancerous when trying to sratch it off....it will grow back, you cant get rid of it... when i was little my mole on my top cheek was really tiny (barely noticeable)..and i kept picking at it (but i didnt scratch it off) and it got even bigger...first it was like a tiny pen point (dot) and now its as big as this lowercase "o"
