Why dont you go on birth control? Wouldnt that be better then just taking the B pill?_

my first instinct is to tell you that i think you really need another method of birth control ... in addition to condoms have you considered going on the pill? They come in a variety of forms now - from taking a pill daily to wearing a patch that you change every week or the depo-prevora shot which is a needle you get every 3 months. Seriously talk with your doctor or family clinic in your area to find out your options and what would work best for you. That way you won't have the same level of anxiety you are going through now when the condom breaks.

Now, having said that (I realize that was not your question), every females cycle is different (usually around 28 days although some are shorter, some longer) but typically ovulation occurs mid-point (around day 15) and you can get pregnant a few days after or before this time. If you are supposed to get your period in 6 days, sounds like you may be okay but again this is not 100%. Your plan b pills should have come with an information packet about how to use it and how long it stays in your system for. You are supposed to take it within 72 hrs of unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy.

I really think that this question is important enough to call the Dr about sweetie. You sound like you want to avoid it by any cost! Why are you not on birth control? If you have your period on the 13th you should not be ovulating any more but that depends on how long your cycle is: 21-35 days? Actually either way you should be okay since you start next week but you really should call your doctor and get on a BC while you are at it. I use the Nuvaring and it is amazing. No pills and only have to remember it one week a month on two Sundays- in and out. I would also look at changing those condoms out. They don't seem to be very effective. Would you rather pay for a newborn for 18 years or a couple extra bucks for the realllllly good ones? Good Ones please. Although, babies are a cuter deal. I hope I made you crack a small smile in all your much understood anxiety. Good luck Hun.

Ask your doctor! Get some fresh condoms or stop being so rigorus cause that cant be natural to have two condoms break in such a short time. This reminds me of the saying "Double up" You shhould use condoms (ALL THE TIME) and just in case be on some other kind of birth control if you really dont want to get pregnant.

you need to speak with a doctor immediately AND you need use an additional form of birth control AT ALL TIMES. for example, condoms and take the pill...also, someone should show you and your partner how to use a condom properly. also, the right size condom is also a must. if the condom is baggy it could break and if it's too tight it could also break. but, by all means get to a friggin' doctor and get on stable birth control.

Yeah right the condom broke...uh huh...and I'm REALLY Madonna. Get an education child...you're going to need one since any child you give birth to will be 10 times smarter than you right out of the womb.
