Okay my quinsanera is coming up and i need to fit into a dress I am finaly on a diet and losing weight,but my grandma keeps saying if I was a little thiner she wouldnt have to make my dress and I would be able to go to a store in buy it. I am really getting annoyed of her calling me fat. I do want to defend myself but I dont want to hurt her feelings either. What should I say?

tell her she isn't helping you by constantly nagging and demeaning you.
I know you don't want to hert her feelings, but do you think she's considered yours?

i know where your coming from... i have three family members who LIVE to pick on ME... you need to think of who's feelings mean mor to you... do you want low self esteem or do you want to stand up for yourself and make her have hurt feeling for a week? plainly and calmly you just need to blurt out :im NOT fat... see what she says... whatever she says just tell her that it hurt your feelings when she said "if you lost weight..." it's not fair for everyone to be judged by their weight :( old times bigger people were considered to be wealthy because they could afford food when everyone else was starving... so i guess the wealthy people these days want to look poor ! lol... srry i tend to tell LaMe jokes... but they make me laugh and thats all that matters to me!
