I personally dont have a name on my body but I do have matching Tats with my husband. I know people that do it and I think it is awesome! But also I have heard it means you wont make it if you get names Tattoo'd on you! I would do it! Just because I love Tats and I am very devoted to him. Even if we didnt make it I wouldn't regret it because after all he is the father of my child and a great man!! So if your question is would anyone get their hubands/wife's name on their body? Then Yes!

Nope. No matter how much you love that person, I wouldn't recommend getting their name on your body. Cause unless you are like seventy years old, there is no guarantee that you be together forever. I once had a tattoo artist tell me that the only names he would tattoo on someone were the names of children, other family members or pets. Pretty smart if you ask me, cause a name tattoo with a line through it isn't gonna look cute.

Never would I tattoo anyones(persons) name on my body. The only "safe" names to tattoo are your pet and/or your children. The name may change and I don't want the regret if the relationship went sour. Besides, how would it look if yer gettin busy with another partner and they see Allen or Linda tattooed across your body? No way, uh uhh, not me for me :)

I definitely can live with the man's name on my body if I can live with him for the rest of my life. It is an artistic token of love and it symbolizes a strong belief in something or someone. Besides, tats can be removed now.

No, I wouldnt becuase a tatoo is forever, and sometimes love isnt. And that would be like letting him brand me...not gonna happen! I know a guy who got his g/fs name on his chest...and then ended up having a baby with another girl. Talk about un-needed drama. Some people think its cute, but its not for me.

i used to be against it. i thought, you should never dedicate your body to someone that wasnt family. Romance comes and goes, and i always thought it was too risky.
But i would get the name of my boyfriend on my body, because i love him that much. I love him enough and he's important enough to me that i would want to show it on my skin for the rest of my life. i think tattoos are all about significance.. not JUST to decorate. and he's a significant part of my life, enough so that he can have some of my skin.
but i'll only do it if we're married. first he seals his part of the deal, then i seal mine lol.

i've heard that it's bad luck, but my hubby got my initials on his leg (along with a cartoon of me and him) about 10 years ago, and i got his initials as a wedding band....14 years later we're still together and not going anywhere....
...i believe in divorce as a shallow hidden grave *grin*

I wouldn't....Not because I don't love him, but because I would like something more original. Me and my husband have matching tattoos of something thats meangingful to us and to our relationship. So I would recommend being more creative.
