The Holy Spirit is the real power behind every miracle ... even the miracles that Jesus performed while he was here, in the flesh.
Anyone who refuses to acknowledge the power of God ... or worse yet ... attributes God's work to the devil, or to other lesser powers, sins against the Holy Spirit.

I think the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are considered a 3 in 1 combo, so any sin would affect all three spiritual entities....that's just from a Catholics perspective....

Okay, there are two equally plausible definitions for this:
One: Once you've receive the Holy spirit and still speak out against God
Two: Doing bad things all your life believing that all you have to do is say a quick prayer of forgiveness and you're heaven bound.
I'd consult a learned scholar about it, but that's what I've heard so far. Best wishes

Jesus was pretty clear, the literal sin is in words, the real sin is in unbelief...OR resistance.
Unsaved resist the Holy Spirit. Saved can deny, reject, and forsake the gift in a willing act of apostasy, which will not be forgiven. Check Hebrews 6:4-6
"For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame."
"Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy AGAINST THE Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever SPEAKETH A WORD against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever SPEAKETH against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come." Matthew 12:31-32 and Mark 2:29, Luke 12:10

unbelief...that is the greatest sin. You refuse the holy spirit when you do not believe. Also called the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit

Everything you think, speak, or do is a sin in one way or another according to the religions. This is why I am not religious. I can not be bothered to believe that one entity created everything in his image with all the thoughts we have, but are not allowed to think. The abilities to do thing, but not able to act, or else you go to a fiery pit for eternity, but he loves you so.
I toss all of my loved ones into a fire pit, don't you? I take great pride in burning the people I love, in fact the more i love them the more I burn them. Just last week I burned my mother to a crisp 4 times, but I resurrected her...
I really do not believe in these things, but I am spiritual to a point, just not the same one as those who believe in this one true god that will set you on fire.
wow, it is getting hot in here.
I AM LOVED!! ohh, nevermind, it's just my heater....
LOL
